The no parking signs stared out at him hungrily like the lusting eyes of a starving hyena.
Sorry, I have nothing here.

These folks were the entertainment for the night. They were parked in th bike lane for quite a while as they unloaded their musical equipment for the show.

This gentleman was delivering newspapers. He almost made it into a parking spot.

There were still free parking spaces when this person parked here.

Here is another example of a terrifically lazy parking job on Davenport.
davenport road and avenue road, Toronto, ON
This stretch of Davenport has pretty narrow parking spaces. Consequently, a lot of people end up with two wheels hanging over into the bike lane.
This is a particularly bad example.
college and augusta, Toronto, ON
He was waiting at the light in the bike lane, presumably to get into his parking spot .3 seconds faster. He did not park in the bike lane at least. On the other hand, there is no broken line here, so he should not have been in the bike lane.
college and augusta, Toronto, ON
I didn't get the license plate or anything, I just noticed that there is a cab parked in the bike lane in front of the last picture I uploaded.
college and spadina, Toronto, ON
Look at all those lovely street cars. Now there is a reasonable way to get around town. Minivans? Not so great.
college and major, Toronto, ON
For some folks, blocking the bike lane is not enough, they have to park on the sidewalk at the same time. The amount of deference that this shows to car traffic is frightening. What delusional thoughts are going through the minds of people who park like this?
