I commute 5km each way to work, 5 days a week. I do my best to defend the measly 90 kilometres of bike lanes that we have in Toronto.
If you were caught in a bike lane by me, please just apologise, move on, and don't do it again. There is no excuse for parking in a bike lane ... ever ... so don't try to argue about it.

This was taken at 8am northbound on Bay St between King and Adelaide. What hope do cyclists have when there are more cars in the bike lane than there are in the 'car' lane?

Everyone knows that hazard lights negate all parking violations.
Personally I think it indicates laziness as in, "Sorry, but I'm too lazy to park legally"

Today there were FOUR Coach Canada buses parked outside the Mariott on Bay St. I only took a picture of one of them.
I also noticed that this is actually a tow-away zone. I think I'll be adding a few tow-truck companies to my cell phone contacts :)

This guy sat here for 5 minutes blocking the lane, and then proceeded to drive in the bike lane for about 100m once his son showed up a little further down the street. Nice work.

Why do these guys have to block the bike lane to repair the traffic lights?
The traffic lights were installed to control the congestion caused by CARS, not bikes, so block the car lane instead.
