Dirty hoe in the bike lane
Runnymede and Bloor, Toronto, ON
This dirty backhoe was parked in the bike lane on Runnymede, in front of the McDonald's by Runnymede Station.
I don't normally post photos of construction vehicles, because they usually have a real reason for being there. However, in this case, the construction is a few hundred metres further north on Runnymede, with plenty of parking spaces in between. This was probably just some lazy ass parking here to go to McDonald's.
Another day, another truck on Bay
bay and temperance, Toronto, ON
These workers did NOT want their picture taken. I offered them the option of moving which they declined, so I snapped away.
A block south I spied a TPA vehicle and requested that he issue them a ticket. He obliged :)
Some people just never learn
bay and temperance, Toronto, ON
This is the second time that I've caught this troglodyte. Clearly he has a learning disability.
Bike lanes AREN'T delivery docks, buddy!
Construction (again) on Bay
bay and temperance, Toronto, ON
Almost every morning there's some kind of construction vehicle parked in the shared bike/bus/taxi lane on Bay.
This is one of the busiest and most dangerous places in the city to ride, the last thing we need is to have something parked in the bike lane.
Constructing Chaos
Bay and Richmond, Toronto, ON
Just because there's nowhere else to park doesn't mean that you can park in the bike lane.
There are precious few bicycle lanes in Toronto as it is, the last thing we need is big trucks forcing cyclists out into dangerous rush hour traffic.
Construction van blocking bike lane
Harbord St. and Montrose Ave., Toronto, ON
Parked just in front of the previous white van (255 1VA). Not only was this guy blocking the bike lane, but he was parked on the sidewalk with the side doors wide open.
Stopped for more than a quickie
Harbord St. and Montrose Ave., Toronto, ON
Eastbound bike lane on Harbourd at Montrose. These guys were obviously using the bike lane for parking their vans for the long-term. Building materials and tools were unloaded from the vans and taking up the bike lane too.
