A double-whammy! And guess what? There were people in both cars... I totally forget about this exception to normal laws when I'm not in a car. This exception states, "So long as you remain in your car and do not park it, you can break any traffic law pertaining to parking."

Said man got a good talking-to by me. When I pulled out my camera, I do believe he gave a salute.

Besides having a bad name for their cab company, these drivers illegally park in the bike lanes on College St. when they come to town. But then again, the rest of the College St. bike lane was packed full of cars on Saturday, so this driver was probably just following along.

This Beck taxi #3235 was parked in the westbound bike lane just west of Spadina on College at around ten minutes to 3pm on Monday June 23,2008. He came out of his cab and I told him that it was illegal to park there and that he was endangering my life by parking there. He refused to move and walked away telling me to f**k off.

A postal truck, no driver around. Must have been delivering to the campus bookstore. Their truck is almost small enough to fit in the bike lane - at least drivers were happy.

I gave this guy the opportunity to move, he aggressively declined, so I called the parking cops on him.

Pulled in front of the Canada Post truck (who was leaving at the time of this picture). The bike lane was mostly buried in snow, but he would have parked there if he could have. Bonus shot of the delivery being made.
