Honda Accord AECX 465 on Annette St.
Annette and Jane, Toronto, ON
New bike lane, already full of parked cars on a regular basis. Though the situation HAS improved a little since they finally installed the "No Stopping" signs.
APZE 493 - Honda on Davenport
Davenport and Laughton, Toronto, ON
Parked illegally in the bike lane on Davenport Rd. at Laughton.
Another on Rogers...
Rogers and McRoberts, Toronto, ON
Having a collection of stickers on the back of your car, even if they're bike-related, doesn't mean you're allowed to park in the bike lane.
Another on Runnymede
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
After taking these photos, I talked to a group of 3 bike cops on the corner across the street. They didn't seem to care about the minivan parked in the bike lane, and said "he's unloading". They even asked me if it's a no parking area, and I had to point out the bike lane signs etc.
I had to point out the Honda parked here as well, and had to keep pushing them to do something about it. When I rode away, they went over to see what was going on with the bike lane parkers. Not sure if they were actually issued tickets....but at least I got the complaints in and they seeme to at least go and talk to the offenders.
Runnymede and Annette
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
More of the usual. Illegally parked in the bike lane, when there were plenty of empty legal spaces just to the south of here.
Runnymede Station
Runnymede and Bloor, Toronto, ON
Typical scene in front of Runnymede subway station. Cars line up here in the bike lane for drop offs / pick ups, or to park and go to the McDonald's.
This guy honked at me while I was taking photos. I guess guess he supports mybikelane.com. Thanks!
Runnymede...Subway...McDonald's...typical...again
Runnymede and Bloor, Toronto, ON
Another...same place.
Runnymede...Subway...McDonald's...typical
Runnymede and Bloor, Toronto, ON
As always...someone parked here.
Busy Morning on Runnymede (Part III)
Runnymede and Bloor, Toronto, ON
Third one at Runnymede Station.
Why do they bother making this a bike lane? It's just used as a drop-off, pick-up, Mickey-Dee's takeout, idling area. And for parts of it, it seems to actually be legal to park there.
Another on Harbord
Harbord and Euclid, Toronto, ON
Stopped in the bike lane right under a "No Stopping" sign.
Ideal Honda Experience
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Another one on Runnymede at Annette...right in front of the previous one.
More Bad Carma
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Another one in front of the yoga place on Runnymede at Annette.
Bad Parking Job
Davenport and Osler, Toronto, ON
In the bike lane. Far from the curb. Next to a "no stopping" sign.
Lost, perhaps?
Queens Quay and Bishop Tutu Dr, Toronto, ON
I don't believe I've ever seen this point without at least on motor vehicle parked/stopped in the bike lane 3/3
Store Run
Queens Quay and Bathurst, Toronto, ON
I don't believe I've ever seen this point without at least on motor vehicle parked/stopped in the bike lane 1/3
The View From The Patio #3
College and Bathurst, Toronto, ON
There were still free parking spaces when this person parked here.
Davenport Bike Lane Convoy #2
Davenport and Symington, Toronto, ON
Again, I blocked out the plate from the closest car because it's actually parked legally. This is the car at the front of the convoy of bike lane parkers. Bonus points for parking at a bus stop and being from outside of Canada (Pennsylvania plates).
