Another one parked in the bike lane.

It would be OK for a motorist to be here if they had merged in to the bike lane to turn right, but this was definitely not the case here. They were parked in the bike lane just to go to the store.

Another one on Rogers Rd.

Started to pull out of the bike lane when I rode up with my camera.

Bike lane stripe, bike symbol, No Parking sign, diamond lane sign, and bike route sign are no match for this minivan, license plate AMAE 994.

Just popping into the convenience store for a moment...

Van parked in the bike lane on Runnymede and Annette. I bet at least 50 cars park here every day, as there's almost always one when I go by. There are usually lots of empty legal spaces just a few metres ahead too, but these motorists are too lazy to walk an extra 10 seconds. This one was even too lazy to turn off the engine, so it was left unattended and idling while the driver went to the store, which is also illegal.

The sticker on the back of this unattended idling minivan in the bike lane brings a tear to my eye: "I Believe in Sick Kids".

Today there were some bike cops at just across the street. I chatted with them briefly and told them there are ALWAYS people parked in the bike lanes along here.

The cop's response was basically that it's a parking enforcement issue, not theirs. They rarely give tickets. Not sure what they really do when they ride around then....at the very least, I think they should tell the drivers to move along.

Parked in the same place as usual. Doesn't seem like they put much effort into getting in and out of there quickly either.

I wonder why they bothered making this bike lane. It's always full of parked cars, and much of it is in really lumpy door-zones.

They should fix it and enforce it, or get rid of it and lay down some sharrows or something.

This one is parked here in front of the Little Bee Mart very often, at different times of day. Fifth violation.

Some guy in a minivan...talking on his cellphone, while parked in the bike lane and on the sidewalk in front of "After Math" at Harbord and Euclid.

This is at least the third time I've seen this one parked in the exact same place.

I was about to feel bad for the driver, as it looks like he's the store owner and was parked there to bring in some supplies. However, after he unloaded, he went and parked in the back.

I thought I would ride up Runnymede on my way to work this morning to see if it was any different than during the evening rush hour.

Nope, same old thing. People parked in the bike lane in front of the Little Bee Mart convenience store.

This one was parked illegally, right in front of the previous one.

Sometime it seems that as soon as one motorist violates a bike lane, others just start doing it too.

Another person "just waiting" to pick somebody up. Your license plate says it all, "just awfl"

Another one parked in the end of the bike lane on Runnymede, southbound just north of the subway station.

Pretty much guaranteed to have people parked here during rush hour. Looks like it's a big pickup zone.

I told this guy he was parked illegally, but he didn't seem to care.

Here we see another minivanlican parked in the bike lane. Hopefully the driver will be enlightened at the uni and stop parking in bike lanes.

Here is another example of a terrifically lazy parking job on Davenport.

Look at all those lovely street cars. Now there is a reasonable way to get around town. Minivans? Not so great.

These folks were having a nice conversation, probably about idling while parked in the bike lane.
