Annette sidewalk / bike lane parker
Annette and Dundas St. W., Toronto, ON
This Nissan Maxima, license plate BBTX 361 was parked on the sidewalk and in the bike lane on Annette St., just west of Dundas St. W.
Unusually, this was in the evening. I typically see cars parked here in the morning when parents clog up the bike lane, road, and sidewalk dropping their kids off at school.
AENC 392 illegally parked on Runnymede Rd.
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Just your average bike lane parking spot....
Finding the Bike Path on Rogers Rd.
Rogers and Silverthorn, Toronto, ON
I took the new Rogers Rd. bike lane on Saturday for the first time. Not bad...but it's one of the worst I've ever seen for bike lane parking violations. I took photos of less than half the vehicles I saw parked.
Here's the first one. A "Pathfinder" finding parking in the bike path.
Nissan on St. George
St. George and Harbord, Toronto, ON
Maybe if these bike lanes were marked better, people wouldn't park their cars here.
On second thought, I doubt it.
Runnymede Parking Lots (3 of 3)
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Third one....pulled in just as I was taking photos of the other two.
Lazy ass convenience store patrons, can't walk an extra few metres....
In the second photo you can see another car in the bike lane to the north. It was broken down and being worked on, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Could have pushed it out of the lane though...ohwell.
Runnymede Parking Lots (1 of 3)
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Two cars parked in this bike lane as I went by, then a third one pulls in as I start taking pictures.
Seriously...why do they bother making this a bike lane? Why not just call it a loading / parking zone? The bike lane stripe just makes it perfect for motorists to park there.
Parked for Pizza
Gerrard and Mutual, Toronto, ON
I think they were parked in the bike lane while in the pizza shop.
SUV on Runnymede
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Usually the Runnymede bike lane parkers use the south side of this intersection. This SUV driver decided to change it up a little.
SUV Idling in the Bike Lane
Runnymede and Annette, Toronto, ON
Bike lanes are a great place to sit around idling your SUV. The "drivesafe" sticker in the back window is a nice touch.
